“Technology doesn’t kill art; it redefines who can create.” – Mathame

January 30, 2026 — Mathame return with ‘Lose Yourself’, a new single that deepens the duo’s EmoTech vision while placing them firmly within the ongoing conversation around AI and creativity. The track will be released alongside the official NEOLOGY trailer, which premieres on YouTube on February 1, and marks a new chapter in Mathame’s evolving saga, where sound, technology, and narrative converge.
With this release, Mathame actively entered the AI conversation by incorporating AI-assisted visuals into the upcoming YouTube trailer. Rather than framing technology as a replacement for artistry, the duo approach AI as a creative tool – one that broadens access, accelerates imagination, and redefines who can participate in world-building. The result is a strikingly futuristic visual language that reflects Mathame’s belief in technology as a catalyst for new forms of expression.
Sonically, ‘Lose Yourself’ is a pure EmoTech statement. Anchored by the repeated chants of “lose yourself,” the track builds with expansive synths, layered vocals, and a driving low-end, creating an immersive experience meant to be felt collectively.
“Lose Yourself” reinforces Mathame’s position not just as electronic artists, but as architects of a wider cultural narrative. Through EmoTech and NEOLOGY, the duo continue to explore how emotion, technology, and human intention intersect – not as opposing forces, but as collaborators in shaping the future of art.
The single precedes Mathame’s USA tour, which kicks off in March and will see the duo performing in Miami, San Francisco, Washington, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, and concluding with their Las Vegas Residency debut at Zouk Nightclub. Full tour dates are listed below.

About Mathame
Mathame, the Italian brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli, are pioneers of EmoTech – a movement where emotional storytelling meets futuristic sound and technology. Shaped by a background in classical music, hip-hop, and cinema, they create immersive productions that blend melodic techno with cinematic depth.
Their debut album MEMO introduced NEO, a monumental art project and narrative world representing a new ritual of sound and light. Its story unfolds through NEOLOGY, a parallel audiovisual show – a non-linear, anime-inspired film projected during their live performances. Together, NEO and NEOLOGY form a unified universe exploring the sacred, the futuristic, and the emotional.
With innovations like Old Neural Mixtape Vol.1 — an AI-powered project for Apple’s M1 chip that reimagined DJ mixing and evolved into a groundbreaking 3D live show — Mathame continue to blur the boundaries between music, technology, and immersive art. From their BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of the Year to performances at Tomorrowland, Coachella, and Hï Ibiza, they stand as visionary storytellers.
